Cathy's
Review: This book contains great information for caregivers on how to
build a consistent routine in your center and simple transitions
techniques. It has ideas for songs to use with transitions and great ideas
for establishing a daily schedule with photos to go along with it. There
are many wonderful “tricks” for smooth transitions in this book, ranging
from arrival and separating from their parents, to waking up from nap and
end of the day ideas as well. In the back of the book was a section on
recommended books to be read to the children on dealing with different
types of transitions. There is a list on separation, friends, naptime and
sharing, all very important topics in the lives of infants and toddlers. I
feel this is a great book for any infant/toddler caregiver lots of great
ideas to expand and build upon.
